I am not sure you ladies know but Sesame Street has a dvd for kids to help explain deployments. I got our copy lol like seven years ago. Ask your frg about it or mwr. You might be able to google it too.

My husband is in the Army! We're expecting our first - a little boy in early August! We narrowly missed his first deployment - he would have left in August, but they cancelled it! I feel for him because he wanted to go, but I'm totally being selfish wanting him home for the baby lol. I can't imagine going through a pregnancy or labor without my husband! *hugs*

This deployment is so hard on both of us. We tried for so long to get pregnant and now he's going to miss everything. I'm so thankful for Skype though!

We found found a month before. We were so shocked bc I've been told I couldn't conceive. We are so so happy. This deployment is so much harder than the last. He's missing everything.
