Mirena-Recall
I have been on the mirena for 3 years now. Now its on recall list...What should I do?...I have been having a few minor side effects from it...But should I have it removed or finish the two years I have left on it?....
My friend had the mirena and within a few months had a prolapsed uterus and cervix and had to have a hysterectomy at 26 :( take it out!!!
I haven't been able to find anything online about it being recalled. I know they have those commercials from lawyers saying to call if you have a claim, but they have them for every birth control on the market. If I were you, I would call your doctor and ask if it has been recalled, and if it has get it removed. If it hasn't, then it's up to you as to whether you want to continue to use it.
