Miscarriage Aug2007, anyone?

Hi! just wondering if anyone that had a miscarriage in Aug2007 is currently pregnant again?

I was prescribed misoprostol as well. After some initial heavy bleeding, the rest was pretty much like a normal period. I've had one cycle since, which was only a week late, although I kind of had spotting during the whole week we were TTC. Maybe that had something to do with - maybe my body isn't back to normal.
Anyway,  since our last month's attempt didn't work I went out and bought an OPK this weekend for the upcoming cycle. I'm not sure what went wrong last month, but I want to do whatever I can this time around to increase my chances. So I hope the OPK helps. I'll let you know!!

I want to thank everyone who responded. Your experiences are very uplifting to me to know that it is a possiblity that i have a chance at getting pregnant again soon. My periods are back to normal i assume even though this month it was late (due to stress im sure). I had my first period on Aug30 2weeks after my miscarriage, my dr said it was my period since that was the time i would normally get it. I had already stopped bleeeding from my m/c at 5 1/2wks. Even though i took a pill(misoprostol) to make the bleeding start it only lasted 4-5days. Hopefully if not this month, i will get pregnant next month with the help of a Ovulation kit. Anyone pregnant now with the help of one of those? Thanks Again!!!

I had a m/c 5/1/07, at 15 weeks no baby just a gest. sac, I got pregnant again In July and m/c 8/31 at 6.5 weeks. I am now pregnant again 6 weeks 3 days I got to see our little angels heart beat at 6w 1d. It was 109, and was the proper size. I get to go back next week to hear his heart and make sure he is growing properly.... I know I keep saying *he* I think it will be a boy. I am very hopeful and optimistic.... We never saw a heart beat or fetus with the other 2 pregnancies. Good Luck to all of you.

I miscarried September of 2007 and for two years though I was infertile, even though I was very young...Now I am nearing 6 weeks pregnant, I didn't even make it this far on my first. After my m/c I wanted to get pregnant right away and couldn't so I assumed myself that I couln't have kids because of my first m/c. Now it's been two years and finally I am given another chance and I'm praying this time it will work, plus my life is now in the right direction, and I am still young, but motherhood is a beautiful thing to me. I think another reason too is when a women is trying to get pregnant it's harder to conceive. Everytime I would have sex with my fiancee I would always think afterwards, "Am I pregnant" or "I hope I get pregnant this time" But would always be disappointed with my period being on time or - hpts. But I wish you the best and I know how anxious you must be, but DONT LOSE HOPE!!!!

I had a m/c last year and it took over 4months to get pregnant again.  I took a bunch over herbs and tried all the tricks and it worked.  I then had to get on progesterone, since I think that is why I lost the first one.  But I am now almost 32wks.  So keep your head up, going through a m/c is rough.  I think I cried the entire 4 months and when I found out I was pregnant again, I cried and cried again cause I was so scared but happy, but sad cause I lost my last one.  Best of luck to all of you who are trying again after a m/c, so many women have been through the same thing and we all can sympathise with you!!

I had a m/c on Memorial Day of this year. (5/28/07)  Not quite August, but I wanted to respond to you anyway and let you know that I'm 7 weeks right now and everything seems to be going well.  (I also suspect twins due to my u/s photo showing a possible 2nd sac, but won't know until 10/22.)  I waited until one normal period and then we gave it a shot and got lucky.  I'm sure things will be fine with your next attempt, just be patient and listen to your body.  Best of luck, and keep us posted! :)

I had a m/c on sept 28th. This week I've been eating a bunch, I wake up and just want to go back to sleep. No matter how early I go to bed too. I've had a headache every night, which is really not like me, not even when I'm supposed to get my period. I've had a lot of back pain and been going to the bathroom a bit more as well. I just called yesterday for my blood test results(we were tracking the downfall of my hormones) and I was at 0 on monday. As of now, I'm totally dragging. I feel bloated, but mostly just extremely tired. I'm kind of moody as well. I'm hungry right now actually, food sounds amazing haha. I just don't know. I'm afraid I might be pregnant again. But its only been three weeks from my m/c today. That's really soon, you think that may be bad If I were to be pregnant? Do you think I may be pregnant? Has anyone gotten there period back pretty quick after a m/c?

my ex sister in law was pregnant the same time i was with my first child. she went to have a ulrtasound to find out what the sex was, she was 5 months, no heartbeat. it had died. it was  a boy. she now has a 2 yr old boy. she done fine the sec go around. im sure you will do fine this go around. just try to stay relaxed. good luck and keep us posted..   mines due june 25 , they have not seen the sac yet, but i know i will be fine and you :)

I had m/c august 8th then period 11th sept i thougt i was preg becoz i was a week late but unfortunatly i wasnt my period came the over day

I too had a MC Aug 27 2007 I had D&C Spet 5th and am just now having my first AF since I did try and didn't suceed at a new pregnancy  good luck to you in your trying.  This was my 2nd MC

Hi! I too had a m/c in August, but unfortunately I'm not pregnant again yet :(
I was told to wait one cycle, which I did, but after TTC this past month, it apparently didn't work. AF arrived this morning, right on schedule. I'm SOOOO disappointed.
We did everything the same, which worked no problem the first time I got pregnant, but this time no such luck. And I thought you were supposed to be extra fertile after a m/c?!?!?!
I don't know if I can handle this trying ang waiting game for another month. It nearly drove me crazy these past 2 weeks!

Hi guys! i had a missed miscarriage in june 07. i went for my first doc visit, he did a routine us and said everything looks great your 8 weeks 2 days strong heartbeat. congrats!!!!! he said usually i'm only a few days off with gestational age, so make an appointment at the hospital to get exact age. i did i was all alone, during the us the tech would not talk to me at all. i insisted that that i was not leaving the place without answers. she said she could not say. i said bull****! get someone in here that can. after a half hour another tech came in and said sorry theres no heartbeat detected. you are 8 weeks 3 days. at first i said your wrong, i was in total denial. i had a dnc on june 22nd. i was crushed. my sister was pregnant as well with a healthy pregnancy and two cousins that i had to continuously be around. I wish tham the best, just a lil jealous!

Girls i'm pregnant again! and my due date is june 17th. exactly a year from my dnc. i am terrified my babies heart is going to stop again. i was under a alot of stress the last time buying a new house, training a huge dog that continuously drug me around and jumped up on me. i no longer have him,i gave him to a friend that can handle him. i now have a tiny yorkie-poo. who knows what caused it. i wish i knew. i'm terrified this time . i had my levels checked this time for the very first time. the doc said they look great! i go next week on friday for my first us! very scared!!!!!!! what are the odds of it happening again?
