Miscarriage Due to Twin sac ,one sac empty

I am  married for last 2.5 years and a year ago I was pregnant .But 10.2 weeks into my pregnancy ultrasound was done.Report- Twins gestation sac has formed inside womb, one of the sacs was empty while other sac is carrying baby but there was no sign of heart bit of baby to indicate presence of life in the baby.the baby seems to have developed upto 9.3 week(doctor's view). Automatic miscarriage did not take place. D&C(abortion) was carried out in a hospital.
Subsequently we visited doctor regularly before we plan for conceiving again.As per our regular doctor's advice,
TORCH test was done subsequently. The report accordning to the doctor's opinion was ok now and some past infection was detected as well.
I must mention here that During the pregnancy following test were carried out.
1-Blood test for sugar,Hb etc.-OK
1-VDRL &HIV(I&II) was done.- Negative
2-Urine test for any infection - Negative

Then after  almost ayear I am pregnant again(54 days from last period).
But last night’s ultrasound report seems to be replica of earlier report
This time though the Ultrasound report,taken a tad earlier was not cleared enough.
Though twin gestation sac is visible,and one sac is empty, the presence of life in one of the sac could not be traced. And the doctor has advised us to wait for 7 more days. and then redo the ultrasound before proceeding for any further action.
In between i am currently taking following medication
1-HUCOG 5000 injection
2-Miprogen tab
3-MCBM tab.
The medicine was started from the day positive test for pregnancy was diagnosed (9th day of missing the monthly period)
Kindly advise me .Your advice will be highly appreciated.

I'd agree and wait another 1 to 2 weeks to see if you SEE a heartbeat. you dates can be off, and it's very hard to HEAR a heartbeat that early on.

wait another week or even 2 before doing anything like a D&C. someone i know was told by her doctor to have a D&C because there was no heart beat, but she waited a week and the next appointment they found a beat. she carried full term and now has a  healthy 7 month old.  keep us updated

This pregnancy i had two sacs and only one one baby.  It is called the vanishing twin syndrome and is actually very common when you find out early.  Wait the 7  days and see if you get to hear the other babies heeartbeat.  Keep us updated.
