Miscarriage and next cycle?

I had a miscarriage last month and on the 11th my levels were at 5 which is considered normal they said that it would be about 28 days till i start my next cycle which was suppose to be friday and here it is monday and still no period. Is this normal? I took two tests on thursday they both came up negative i'm not sure what to think or don't want to get my hopes up just in case some people don't get it for weeks or months after a miscarriage. Any thoughts?

Thanks ladies for all the experiences and advice it made me feel more at ease. I did happen to start my period today and let me tell you its much more paintful then what it usually is ugh. Thank you!

I had an early miscarriage on November 18, and still now, no period.
My doc said that being stressful and gaining some weight affect my period cycle.
So he gave Duphaston : 2 pills for 10 days
Today is my last pill, and i guess my period will come in couple of days. I try not to think and keep it smooth.
As the ladies sadi to u, every body is different.
I will keep u update when to get my period

Some miscarriages happpen when you probably were expecting a period! So you bleed that much moreee! Soo it take maybe double time to get a perioddd... I miscarried and bleed for 6 weeks my second miscarriage I bleed for a week and then a month later I got my perioddd

I had an early miscarriage on October 5th and started my first cycle November 14th. So you should be getting yours soon. They say it can take up to 6 weeks..

It varies per person some get AF right away like clockwork some the cycle is screwed up for three months

Mine was a very early miscarriage a chemical as most people would say i was due for my period on the 3rd of last month and got multiple pregnancy tests but then started bleeding went to the hospital and was told i miscarried i bled for 7 days so i figured i should be getting it soon.

I recently had a miscarriage and my levels were at 2 30th dec. Now i was told off the early preg nurse it can take as long as 3months for your body to have a period or return regular, now my friend has also had a miscarriage recently and she had a period 2 weeks after so i think my point is all our bodies are different hun. The nurse also said to me if i didnt have a period in 8 weeks to see my GP and he would put me on the pill to help me start a period.
I think if your a little worried see your GP for a blood test. Have u been tracking your ovulation since your levels hit 0? Iv actually had 2 seperate occasions where i thought i was having a period and i only spotted for 1 day then 3 days after again. I think it also depends on how much u bled (my case 7weeks) argghh
