Missed period for 4 months

I haven't had a period since Aug. 24th, 2009. I have never had a regular menstrul cycle so when I missed my period, I did take a pregnancy test just in case but it came up negative and I figured it was just my irregular menstrual cycle. In the following months that I continued to miss my period, I did take tests again just to be sure. In total, I took 4 test that all came back negative. This takes me to today, Dec. 15th, 2009 and I have still not gotten my period and the last couple of nights I have been feeling neausous. I did take another test this morning and it came up positive. I am now concerned that I may be pregnant and if I am, I would be 15 weeks along since my last period. Since it's Sunday, I can't get to a doctor for a blood test. Is it possible to have become pregnant at some later point then my last missed period? Or, if I am really pregnant, would I indeed be 15 weeks along?

Thanks for your response.  So it's possible to ovulate and not get a menstrual cycle?  This is were I'm confused.  I have never been pregnant before so I have no idea what it feels like but wouldn't I know by 15 weeks?  I'm concerned that if I really am 15 weeks and haven't seen a doctor or had prenatal vitamins I could be hurting my baby.  I just don't know how a home pregnancy test would show up negative until now if I really have been pregnant this long.

you could have gotten pregnant at a later time..espically sence you have an irregular period to begin with! Meaning you do not ovulate the same time each month!! When you go to the doc and get an ultrasound..if he thinks your 15 weeks he will give you an ultrasound and it will show a baby!! :) Good luck and let us know!
