I had severe morning sickness. I was throwing up day and night if I ate or not it was the worst! I would get throwing up so much my throat would swell up and I would choke   =(  This really freaks me out! I had to go to the hospital many times for IV fluids because I was dehydrated.

They gave me Zofran for nausea. Sometimes it helped and sometimes it didn't.  They tried me on reglan for nausea too and it helped with the nausea but after taking if for a few weeks caused severe anxiety! I would not recommend reglan!

Most important is to keep pushing fluids. I discovered frozen icey's or popsicles stayed down better then anything else .. no clue why! The dry crackers and stuff didn't work for me because they hurt to throw back up and I felt traumatized from all the gagging and choking!

Benedryl helps some people with nausea too .. so you could try that as well.

My nausea and vomiting didn't ease up until recently and I am 18 weeks. I am expecting twins though too and they said sometimes with twins its severe .. and it sure was severe!!!

I had horrible morning sickness! I would get super sharp pains before throwing up. I found that the pain wouldn't go away until I actually threw up! It got to the point I could not keep anything down not even water so my doctor pit me on zolfran.....amazing stuff! Was only on it for a few weeks until I hit the second trimester! (My morning sickness started at 8wks and stopped around 12wks) if you seriously are fearing the throw up and are stressing over it ask your doctor about it! Stressing is not good for the baby, plus it will take a toll on your body! All in all its gonna wear you out and you will never get any relief! Best of luck dear!

It's not like having a hangover throwing up does nothing. Either way your still the same amount of sick. The only thing I found that helped was peppermint candies!

I always tried not to throw up till my bf suggested I might feel better so I started throwing up and yes I felt much better after. the symptom of wanting to throw up is your body trying to get rid of something it doesn't want in there, I know it ***** and I hate throwing up too just the thought of putting my face in a toilet ***** but I used a trashcan with 2 or 3 bags in it I was able to puke in peace :-)

When I was sick during pregnancy I didn't feel better after throwing up.  Actually, it made me feel worse.  What did make me feel better was eating something and laying down.

As time goes on and you progress into your pregnancy you will feel better. I know in 4 weeks 1day and I was sick last night--this morning at 4AM.

If it doesn't clear up get rubbing alcohol and smell that not a lot like a quick smell i use it when I get nauseated the doctor said the smell helps to fight sickness then again I haven't tried it since I found out I was pregnant
