Moscarried & Ready to try again but is it too soon???

I was 5 wks preg when i found out on 19/11/11.
Had spotting which became much heavier & a lot more painful.
Scan on 1/12/11 confirmed I had miscarried & nothing was showing in the scan any longer.
I have finally stopped bleeding at the weekend 4/12/11.
Want to try again but I'm very scared.
What if the same thing happens again?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanx for ur comments.
Emotionaly I tend to just get in with it so from that perspective I'm fine.
I just don't know what to do.
I guess I'm just scared im guna go thru it again but to be fair  If it's guna happen it could happen now or in two months time.
Hubby & I are ready.
I just hope our insides are too.
I started taking my supplements again too.

If you were regular until August it sounds likely that you got pregnant then, but you were only showing 5 weeks because the pregnancy was not progressing properly.  With my last loss at 12 weeks I showed 5 week abnormal sac and low hcg levels.  We know the pregnancy was 12 weeks from my lmp though for sure because I had an early test confirming it.

Some Dr.s will tell you to wait a cycle, some 3.  It helps with dating, thickening your uterine lining and letting you heal a little more emotionally.  Many women get pregnant immediately following a m/c with no ill effect.  It's up to you when you feel ready.  After both of my losses it took a while for my cycle to regulate again so I never got pregnant right away, but some women do.
Good luck!

TTC is trying to conceive. But you skipped 2 cycles in between ,did you discuss it wid ur Doc?Post misscarriage you need to wait atleast one normal cycle before you TTC that too when you do not have any issue that requires treatment.

It means you do not ovulate every month and do not have regular period.Did your Doc evaluate you to find out the reason of not having regular period. If not then go for it.In case you start TTC it would difficult for you since you are not ovulating every month. It is not only for ovulation but also for a heathy pregnancy so before you fall pregnant again you must resolve it first sothat you have healthy pregnancy .

No. My last cycle was 15/08/11. I went for a scan as had not had a period so was getting checked out. This is when I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant.

Very early miscarriages are common, though it is painful. If no other reason was confirmed by Doc then it might have happened due to chromosominal abnormality either in the egg or sperm. In that case neither your Doc nor you could have done anything to stop it.Itz unfortunate that it happened with you but It just happens and can happen with anybody no matter how healthy the couple is.

Itz not like if it has happened it wd happen again .You miscarried at week 5....Are you calculating your pregnancy week from LMP?
