Motorcycles and Pregnancy...?

I was wondering if anyone has ever rode a motorcycle while pregnant or know someone who has.  I dont know if we are pregnant are not but my husband has one bike and is getting another harley tomorrow.  I want to do some riding on the new bike.  He looked up something about it and it said it is safe as long as you stop every 30 mins and rest for 10. Any thoughts?

I work for a harley shop and I ride all the time.  I love to ride so I don't really want to give it up.  The biggest thing to think about is really that they are a little more dangerous.  If you take short rides that won't wear on you or put you in danger I think that it's ok every once in awhile.

Hi Rachie, in India, EVERYONE is on bikes, even heavily pregnant ladies.  I guess it all depends how strong you are in terms of your pregnancy and how smooth the roads are.  You don't want to go on bumpy rides - even in cars with poor suspension - and you need to listen to your body because you need to 'work' at staying seated on a bike, unlike a car  where you can sit back and relax.  So don't go for long rides without resting and make sure to listen to your body.  If you are feeling fatigued at all you need to stop.  Hope that helps.
