Mucous plug??
I'm 36 weeks pregnant and have been having a lot of discharge these past few weeks. I was told at 35 weeks I was already 1cm with no effacement. After that I've had an increase in my discharge and yesterday and this morning I had chunks of yellow discharge come out so could this be my plug?
Youre plug is surprisingly a lot, like I couldn't believe how much I lost. Which is disgusting I know. But this could definitely be a part of your plug. I never had any blood or dried blood in mine, mine was always a yellow-greenish mucus color. I lost mine in pieces and you probably are too because if you lost it all at once you'd KNOW lol.
Don't be afraid though. Let your doctor know at your next appointment and because you've still got some time to go, be prepared for it to grow back and you lose it again. I lost mine around 37 weeks and then I lost it again at 40 so just be prepared for that
