Warm showers and hot compresses are not a good idea they help produce milk after bf for six mo with my first my Dr told me to just take Luke warm shower or as cold as I could handle to help stop milk production. Also wouldn't give me any med to take to dry it up cause they said it caused cancer but that was almost 6yrs ago they may have somethin new by now.

Are you wanting to breastfeed after you get off the meds? Like is it a pain reliever? If that's the case I'd just pump it out and dump it. If not, cabbage helps a lot!!!! You can also pump what you have in there dump it and then try keeping a tight fit bra on or an ace bandage as someone else suggested. Call your OB and see if they have any suggestions til you can get in.
Hang in there. I had the same problem with my first. Keep them in a tight bra, ice and showers help too. They will go down over time. If they are still bothering you ask the dr,but they will probably start going down by then.
.
I used ice packs, and a really tight ace bandage. Ice packs, in a towel, wraped really tight on ur chest. My cosin and i did this. They were all good. There is a shot u can get to dry u up. When u get in to ur doc. Other wise this should help sweets
I've heard it helps to bind your chest.
Cabbage on your boobs! Sounds weird but it helps. Google ways to dry your milk supply up. I can't remember what else LOL.
No unfortunately if you do anything to pull the milk out it will make you produce kind of a catch 22 sorry. Hot compresses are pretty much it. Good luck!
Warm showers usually help with pain but I don't know any home remodies for it.
Yes I had my c section on wednesday
There are medications. Have you already given birth? These medications are not to be used until after birth. Or after birth you can take decongestant medication as directed on the box to help decrease milk supply
hmm I didnt know that but its still two days until I can get in to my doc because of the holiday weekend ....ugh they hurt so bad
You should ask your dr they can give you a pill to dry up all the milk
