My period is so messed up! Help!

I know I've answered a lot of questions for people about their own situations, but in my own, I feel totally clueless! Isn't that strange? Anyway, I thought I was pregnant in September but kept getting negative results. Blood test at doc's office said negative. But my period still wouldn't come. Just some brownish spotting (I only used one pad and it barely had anything on it). My breasts stayed tender and still are to this day. But I've been having this "period" that is so weird! It's brownish and really light. But I've never had implantation bleeding and why would I keep getting it every month? All tests say negative. I wasn't planning on being pregnant, but I wouldn't mind if I was! I love being pregnant. Anyone have strange periods like this?

i know its been a while since this post had any activity, but im currently experienceing the same thing as njeosys. heres my situation:

both me and my fiancee are in the navy, my contract will be over in april, im just finishing up my last shore duty now, and i wanted to start a family afterwards. when i saw him for christmas we had unprotected sex the 24-27 of december. then my period came on the 5th of january but stopped on the 6th. i was excited because i thought this was implantation bleeding. however, a week later i took 3 pregnancy tests. all of which came out negative. so i was a little disappointed. then, on time, i got another period on the 4th of february...but it stopped on the 6th. this is very unusual because i have not had sex since xmas and my periods usually last 4-6 days. also, on the 6th, it wasnt red anymore it was more of a brownish color and thicker. could i be pregnant? should i test again in another week? please help thanks!

I had the same thing.  My last period was basically nothing but a light brown discharge until the very end when i saw a bit of red.  Mine, however, lasted about 4 days (with nothing happening on day 3).  It was really weird cause I was extremely tired, nauseous, sore breasts and constantly burped (which I can't even make myself do) for 2 weeks before my so-called "period" came.  I took a test and it said negative......  I am really nervous.....  I have also been getting dizzy lately......

No, I didn't have a m/c. I had a baby in March of this year, but I had two normal cycles and then everything went out of whack! I've had a m/c before so I know what I would expect but I did not have one at any given time since my daughter's birth. I've been trying to lose weight and strengthen up and everything is getting firmer except my stomach. My stomach seems to be getting bigger, no matter how many crunches so I have no clue. I don't have a preg. test at home so I'll have to wait and just see what one says. Thanks

your not alone,can i ask have you had a mc lately reason i ask is this is my 2nd cycle since mc and i get exactley the same,wish my body would go back to how it used to be..

Well I've been taken any Pills or birth control other than condoms. So... that is why I'm so confused as to what is going on. It's just weird, annoying, frustrating... Arg!!! At least I'm not in the boat alone. Not that I want everyone else to be confused, but at least I know I'm not somehow messed up.

That happened to me.  I've been off BCP since Aug.  I got a normal period in Sept and Oct but in Nov I only got spotting (very very light, i only used pantyliners), then about 2 weeks later I got slightly heavier brown spotting but not really a period (I don't think).  However, my DH and I have only started TTC 1 week ago (after my 2nd spotting finished).  So it's prob not pregn for me.  But I'd love to be pregn.  I"ve been feeling like I am but I'm not sure what it's supp to feel like.
