thanks! she said i was ranging it was 29 something i couldnt really hear her on the phone
Oh my gosh I am so sorry on the loss of your little girl! Did they tell you what your levels were both times?
See they took test the day i went & got my ultrasound then 2 days later went back & took another. & the doc said if they decrease then i have options like have a d&c or just let it all go when it comes time. but my levels came back good so idk what to think. i been spotting brown & sometimes red for about a week now! im hoping this pregnancy goes good because with my first pregnancy i was having a girl & i went all the way to 7 months & was in a car accident & lost her.
It could be that you ovulated later than usual and are not as far along as you thought. The only thing that you can do is have a repeat blood test within 48-72 hours and/or another ultrasound in a week or so. You're levels need to double and only one draw is not going to tell you that. Its just going to show that you have the pregnancy hormone in your blood. An ultrasound would be able to see if there is any further development. With bleeding it can go either way, with my first pregnancy I had only a couple spots of blood at 6w2d and got an ultrasound which showed the baby and a heartbeat. Didn't spot again and got another ultrasound at 9 weeks and it showed a 6w4d old baby with no heart rate. I ended up having to get a D&C since I didn't miscarry on my own. My next pregnancy I started bleeding worse than a period at 5 weeks with cramps and clots and the whole shabang and still had a healthy pregnancy. My daughter is now 3 1/2.
