What do they do exactly at a non stress test nd wen do they do it?,i don't think I've gotten 1 yet and i'll be 35 weeks tomorrow

For me i have to go weekly ill have my 5th one on thursday and they just hook you up and montior contrations baby movement and heartrate

NTS isn't a routine test they only do them when they feel they are needed I went to my 36 week appt today and had one done but they did them my first two pregnancies too

I had one at my last appointment last week, but it was only because babys heart rate was really high when they checked with doppler. They only give it to you if they think you need one for some reason.

Ya I never had one with my first pregnancy and this time I am because my babys measuring small

It's not routine. If dr doesn't see a reason to do it (pre term labor, preclampsia) then you won't have one done

I had my first one yesterday and they just hooked me up to the monitor to check baby's heart and they gave me a button to push every time I felt baby move.
