Natural Delivery with Hernia?
I'm just curious to know if anyone has, or knows someone who has, had a hernia and delivered naturally? At my appointment the other day, my doctor told me he thinks I might have a small femoral hernia and in the excitement of hearing the heartbeat, etc, I didn't think to ask about whether it might affect our childbirth options. I just started thinking about the possibility I might have to have a c-section this evening and will ask at my next appointment but figured it couldn't hurt to ask you all in the meantime.

I developed an imbilical hernia while pushing my son/first child out.  I had my daughter/2nd child vaginally as well. It made the hernia larger and i had to have it repaired.   But thats nt saying its safe n all. I didnt know i had the hernia there for my ob dr had no knowledge of it.

Thanks for the feedback all! It's nice to hear that it might be possible to avoid a c-section.
