Natural birth mommas!

Ladies.... It's my first baby boy!! I'm super excited about giving birth of course, but I'm not getting any support from my family as far as natural birth. Everyone keeps pressuring me about getting an epidural and it's very frustrating. Any ideas or methods you ladies use?

That is not true what the last person commented. Every women's labor story is different, I wasn't drained after having my natural births I was up and walking within the next hour. Don't let others discourage you.. Do what's best for you and your baby. Good luck!

This is my 4th pregnancy and with my oldest I had him natural tore and was in horrible pain and back labor after birth... It Effing hurt!! And so I've been getting an epidural with the rest since... It doesn't make u loopy and drugged up. It makes u numb and really helps u relax before the baby comes! Honestly natural births are more harsh to your body and by the time u push the baby out Ur going to be so drained and meeting your new baby isn't going to be what u thought

I've had a Natural birth with my first and an epidural with my second one. The natural birth was awesome. I stay at home as long as I could with my contractions and when I made it to the hospital I was 9cm. Within 15 minutes of me being at the hospital it was time to push. Giving birth didn't hurt. It happened soo fast. The only thing that hurts is the contraction, but walking and breathing helped me. With my 2nd child I got the epidural because my grandparents made me go into the hospital soo early. I don't like being tied to a bed when I'm in pain. Moving helps me cope. The epidural wore off by the time I was in full labor and I was aware of everything. Everybody body is different so nobody can really say how you'll do with natural nor a epidural. If it wasn't for me having to have a C-section with this baby I'll be going natural again because it's not bad as people makes it seem. Don't let nobody scare you because honestly a lot of these people be over exaggerating

Same her chick!!! People say I won't be able to handle it and it's annoying but whatever F them. I want to try a water birth but if not I'll be walking and using pregnancy/yoga balls to help keep things moving. And idk about the woman earlier I know every doc is different and every pregnancy is different but my bff got a lot of pain meds and she said she doesn't remember much of her giving birth and the pain meds they gave her after she said it was the highest shed ever been.... I don't want to be like that either so I'm deff going natural. I don't have anything against the epidural but it would be nice for the people that try to talk me out of it to respect my decision to.

I've had 2 natural births no IV's or anything what so ever! I'm due in 6 weeks and I plan on going the same route.. Best advice I can give you is WALK!! It definitely benefits you in the long run, and when your finally in labor and have your contractions just breathe through them and try not to tense up so much. Both of my deliveries were really fast and I had no tearing.

I had planned not to get the epidural just pain meds but they couldnt give me anymore pain meds so I got it at 8cm I tore severely so i'm glad i had it my girl was 8 pound 7 oz. I remember every bit of it. You can plan anything but it might change in the moment of actual birth.

With my first I had an epidural,  I was very young so I just wanted my baby out easy peasy no pain.  I didn't like it.  I don't remember much :(
With my second I went all natural,  and my baby boy was 11 pounds.  And I did it!  It definitely was alot of pain,  bug u can cope with it for sure and it's worth it!!
I'm on my third,  and I'm going for an all natural,  water birth!  I can't wait!
I say do whatever you want,  I definitely recommend all natural though because you remember everything,  and you and baby aren't pumped of meds.  Whatever you choose momma, it's all up to you :) good luck and congrats!

Honestly, im not encouraging the epidural but the epidural does not make u feel drugged up for the person who said that. Ive had 2 kids both i had planned natural but as labor progressed, it was in my best interest to receive the epidural. I was 100% in my full state of mind and didnt feel drugged at all. Only thing was that I was numb. Im 4"11 115 lbs on average and never tore with either kid. My biggest weighing 8 lbs. I plan on going natural with #3 but if i cannot do it, i wont feel any less of a woman because I got one. Now the meds that will make u feel loopy are the ones they put in ur IV for pain like Demerol, stadol, etc. One thing I re ommend if you can is going to a birthing class. It will help you understand what to expect more especially if u want to go natural. I wish u the best and hope you can do it without the epi, I hear its a very empowering experience, but in my opinion having a baby period, no matter how is. :)
