Nesting....Opinions please

Okay so im 23 weeks today and I have discovered that all the cleaning and rearranging is me nesting. I have totally rearranged my sons bedrooms, went through all their clothing, redid their closets, cleaning my house from top to bottom, and I mean deep deep cleaning. I have my DH a honey to do list of things that I would like done around the outside and inside of the house.

I guess my question is... Is it too soon for me to start nesting? Does it mean that labor is close which is shouldnt be, But im concearned that maybe I should keep an eye out on my body incase something happens, like premature labor. I also have a ton more discharge that is white and clear, and I mean (TMI) gobs of it, and it only comes out when I go to the bathroom, both #1 and #2.

I guess just opinions on what ya'll think, should I worry? My nesting never kicked in with my other children until I was about 8 months pregnant, and right before I went into labor.

Im just worried that something is going to happen soon, and it shouldnt because Conner hasn't had enough time to bake yet lol.

Sorry this is so long, and thank you in advance.

I too went through a stage around that time when I cleaned all the ceiling fans, blinds, under beds etc. It slacked off until about last week when I tore into my two year old sons room and reorganized his shelves, toys, cleaned out his armoire and dusted everything like a maniac! I'm dying to start washing her clothes and bedding, but don't want it to get dusty before she gets here.
I wouldn't worry about him coming too soon. I think it's a phase a lot of go through.

LOL, well DH is really excited as this is the first baby he will actually be home for, so he is all involved. He held my hair every morning during m/s moments, he has been to every appointment, you name it lol. He is even supportive of my nesting, so hopefully he will be as supportive when Conner gets here and has his first really messy poopy diaper lol.

Wow, he is one motivated man! He needs to come shake hands with mine so my hubby can catch the cleaning bug. My hubby's idea of getting something done is doing ONE project on ONE day of an entire weekend. LOL! You're blessed!

Joy,

Thank you, I have switched all my cleaning agents out and only use White vinegar as it is safe for me to use during pregnancy. Also DH has gotten a lot done on his list which is quite surprising lol. He uprooted and cut down the 3 trees in my front yard yesturday, and has fixed the plumbing in the kids bathroom, lowered the shelving in thier closets, made dinner, and even cleaned out the shed. He doesn't have much left to do, and if he keeps it up at this pace he will be done before me lol which will be a first.

With my second daughter I started nesting before I even got a positive result (but then again, we moved into a foreclosed home that needed a lot of work). Do be careful while you clean and rearrange and don't be afraid to ask for help!!!

Hopefully your honey will get his honey-do list done as well!

Thats always a relief to know, Even though this is #4 for me it seems like everything is brand new lol. I remember some stuff but stuff has been going on that I never experianced with my other children. Im actually more terrified to have this baby then I was with the others, I just feel like im not going to know what im doing lol.

Thank you for your opinions, I think I will just clean away and hopefully tomorrow I wont have to clean so I can enjoy the day with my boys.

I've been nesting like crazy since 24 weeks.... it's not a reliable indicator of early labor; some women have it early, some later, some not at all. Nothing to worry about. Just try to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy... and your clean house!! :)

Good, I was worried that maybe I was getting close when I shouldnt be any where near delivering. The discharge and BH suck really bad, but I know it isn't really anything I need to worry about. Uhg, Hopefully I can get my house finished tonight lol It's still a mess.

I dont really think it is anything that you need to worry about. I had peroids of nesting from about the same time. As for the incresed discharge and BH contractions I would ask your OBGYN and see what he thinks... Please keep us posted. Best Wishes

Forgot to add that I am also very fatigued, and have lots of BH contractions, probably about 15 to 25 a day.
