No baby or sac found in my 7w 1d vaginal ultrasound :(

After five years of trying desperately to concieve; finally, it happened for me. My LMP was on Feb. 13th. I took 3 HP tests on March 19th which all came back positive, so I went to Dr. on March 20th and again positive. Today I went for what was to be the first time I saw our beautiful new life and they couldn't find it :( They did another urine test + then drew blood for HCG level test. My heart is broken </3 and I am no optimistic person as it is. Can anyone give me something to feel optimistic about? 7w and 1d along this morning, now don't even know if I am pregnant. Where is my period? Where is the pain if it's an eptopic? I am so confused. PLEASE help me someone.

Hi there!
Last summer I had a pregnancy just like the one you describe..everything was just like a normal pregnancy but when it was time for the ultrasound no baby no sack..it was horrible due to the fact we tried to get pregnant for  1 year.now I'm pregnant and due Sept..will be praying for you :-)

False positive pregnancy test are caused by:
Fertility treatment: if u receive shots of hcg..
Chemical Pregnancy: when the fetus does not develope..
Certain rare medical conditions such as Trophoblastic Disease, Islet-Cell Tumors, Heterophile Antibodies..
Medication Drugs like Methadone, promethazine.
Phantom-HcG..
Hope its not one of the above. Wish you the best. With a vaginal ultrasound your able to see a sac atlist by 5 weeks.

Its possible that it was a blighted ovum, meaning your body absorbed the embryo. But you would still get a positive pregnancy test and hcg levels will still increase for a little while and eventually start to decrease. Or maybe the dates are off?
