I had this same situation back in July. I had an ultrasound at about 6 weeks and they discovered that I was possibly having a blighted ovum. Which means the baby never developed fully. It was just an empty sac. We waited about 2 weeks to see if anything had changed. I was still feeling very much pregnant and  my numbers were rising. However I had 2 have a d&c done a day later. Hope everything turns out ok.

Hi,

I really wouldnt worry about not seeing a sac ect that soon i had a scan at 5 weeks and a sac was found to be 4-5weeks old but the sonogrammer said before not to worry if she couldnt see anything because its a little early. is it possible you may have your dates mixed up and your a little earlier than you thought you was?? ( i know many people say this and ur like im not thick haha but remember if your going off your last period most people dont ovulate until 14-16 days later!) Is your doc checking your hcg to make sure its going up correctly?

I hope all goes well for you!
