Not a question...just an update!
I'm so excited! I spent a lot of money but I really think its worth it this time. My doc said that i was being undertreated for my thyroid and that i also needed T3 (cytomel) and so i got an increase dose in Synthorid with a Rx for Cytomel and he told me i was definitately hypoglycemic and PROBABLY had PCOS which needed to be treated w/progesterone cream like i've been using. He said if i followed a low-glycemic index diet w/progesterone cream and thryoid medication i should finally be able to lose weight!! After 5 years of being 40 lbs overweight i'm looking foward to it!!
On another wonderful note..my boss from my old job (that I was discharged from 6 months ago b/c of state law changes to the Substance Abuse Counselor regulations) called today and offered me a case management position starting next monday or in 2 weeks at the latest!!!! I'm so grateful to finally have a job...especially with all these bills!!! Interestingly, i've been reading THE SECRET and apparently it works...two days after BELIEVING i was working at my old job place...i get a call offering me a job!!!
I'm in SUCH a great mood and feel optimistic for the first time in a long time!
For those of you who have helped me lately (you know who you are....especially my PINC!!!) i REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!
I still don't have AF but doc (who is a hormone specialist) said that it would probably start in a few days after stopping the progesterone cream.
*****Also....and this is interesting.....he said that the only way that stopping progesterone cream at the end of the cycle can cause a miscarriage is if you have fertility problems.********* I thought this was interesting b/c everything i've read online scares the **** outta you and you worry "oh ****...if i stop and i'm pregnant and don't know it, i've caused a miscarriage" So while you should still talk to your doc about you personally, i found it very comforting that i'm not inadverently chancing the murder of a baby i didn't know i had (while using and stopping progesterone cream) *Note: i' am ot pregnant...as far as i know. ehehhehe

oh i'm okay...really!! I wasn't expecting it this month! I'm totally fine with waiting but still would love it if it happened!

Well....dum dum dum..........(sound of symphony before revealing the big moment!)
AF Has arrived!!! So yep...ALL progesterone symptoms. I mentioned in one post that i felt different this cycle and I DID, but i also knew i wasn't pregnant....thought it was a possibility but deep down did'nt feel it was true...and low and behold I got AF at 530 this morning! yuck...and i have to write a paper for class today! yuck!!!! But at least I can start temping again and do opk's this month! yipeeee

uh, yeah but this was also my first cycle using natural bioidentical progesterone cream.
Here's a list though...like i said, i'm not convinced i'm preggo...its likely the p cream!
(not in order of days or anything)
frequent hunger (pretty constant)
frequent urination (not always)
increased BBT (up to 98, usually below 97.6)
Increased vaginal wetness (usually very dry except for week of EWCM)
Less PMS crankiness
BB's were very sore up until late last week, or about CD 25 they stopped being AS sore.
Unusual (for me) cravings (spicy food, tamales, lemon cookies--thanks to my MOTHER TALKING about them one night, strawberries)
Nasal stuffiness (could be allergies too)
cramping only started 1 week ago, usually continues all month
Cramping is more like 'pulling" and "tugging" and not the same as AF
less chocolate cravings (usually crave big time!)
urine smells funny (especially last week)
lower sex drive
Late (missing?) period (only have been this late one other time and that was in march when docs thing i had a chemical pregnancy but have no way of knowing for sure)

well...while i think getting my thyroid regulated as well as treating PCOS may increase my chances, my husband uses the PULL OUT method so our chances are still pretty slim. We aren't actively ttc just kinda letting what will be will be so if it happens...i can't say i'd be upset but at the same time, i'm not necessarily expecting it. BUT i wish I'd get AF...hpt's are still negative but today is CD 31 so i'm wondering wtf.....
My cousin was actually trying to lose weight when she got pregnant, so you never know.
well thats some good news there lady!!! Looks like things are only going up from here!
