It's what you call RH NEGATIVE.... You need a shot at 28 weeks and one right after birth of baby.....

I am also 0- and had the shot clysta mentioned at 28 weeks, that shot was techinally for my second pregnancy b/c the anitbodies develop with the 1st and then go on to attack the 2nd pregnancy, the concern is miscarriage or the baby can be born jaundice. My mom is also 0- and never had the shots, back then they didnt do them, I her 3rd child my little brother was born with jaundice, I was not affected I was the 2nd b/c I was 0-. Did you get the shot the 1st time around?

You should have been given shots when you were 28 weeks pregnant and at the delivery of the child. This will help to prevent the antibodies that would attack the baby from forming. It's only a risk if you actually have these antibodies. (if I'm remembering correctly) If you do show a positive on a test, your doctor will check for these, and if you have none, you should be fine.
