O/T lump in my 3yr olds neck

i was tickling my three year old on her neck and noticed a lump on her neck about the size of a lima bean and about an inch below her ear. I then remembered her having this lump as an infant but it being a lot smaller and i just brushed it off then but now that she's older and its gotten bigger i'm concerned... its on her right side and she doesn't have it on her left side.. i was wondering any suggestions on this. she has an app in 4 weeks with a TBI doctor (from a skull fracture she got last year from being dropped while getting a piggy back ride on to cement she's totally re covered just bein overly cautious) anyways.. how serious does this sound and am i safe to wait the four weeks til her next app or should i have her seen asap? thanks in advance for any answers ladies!

A lump that has grown in size is something to be concerned about. I wouldn't wait 4 weeks. I would call first thing in the morning and see a specialist.

If I remember you have lymph nodes in your neck that can become swollen and stick out. I had them in the back of my neck when I got mono. My sister also had them, but she had ALL. (don't mean to worry you) Call your doctor and ask them what they want you to do. They might want to check it out to see if everything is ok. I believe they can also become swollen when you're sick as well.
