Awwww! Congratulations! It is the most wonderful feeling ever isnt it? I have been feeling our little one move a lot lately too. Its getting stronger and stronger. When you lay in bed at night lay flat on your back and within a few minutes I bet you start feeling more and more movement. THat is when our little one wakes up the most...just as I lay down and get comfortable. Lol!!! My Marc has felt it a couple times, but this little stinker likes to lay still when daddy touches my belly. He got a bit discouraged last night because I was standing there next to him and I was holding my belly and told him the baby was wiggling all over the place. The second he put his hand on my belly the baby stopped.:-( I was bummed. I know he wants to feel more, and though he has felt the fluttery movements he hasnt gotten to feel any of the strong kicks yet. But he will.
I never really knew what I was feeling.. but then yesterday.. my entire belly moved.. and you could see her poke out.. I could even feel her from the outside.. I called everyone. I was so excited!!
yay! it's the best part of pregnancy! now you won't be able to keep your hands or your eyes off of your tummy! i'm sitting here at my laptop with my belly uncovered right now! i never want to miss a thing! :) :) :)
Isn't that just the best feeling in this world?
I'm am pregnant with number 2. ITS A BOY! And let me tell ya, even though I have been there and felt that with my 1st -girl- Its still the best feeling in this world. No matter how many times you feel it... its the same WONDERFUL feeling every time!
Love it! Enjoy it! You'll miss it when she's born! =]
-and CONGRATS! -girls are harder, but funner! lol
I think the only way I can describe Aspen's first movements was a wormy feeling. Very strange. Her first kick was AWESOME and then by like 7 months she was doing some darn weird things in there and I wanted to evict her.
I agree about the thumps. And I usually get the watery feeling with it. It also reminds me of a gas bubble in your stomach popping or moving suddenly. But I know it's my boy because I've felt it like 8-10X over thelast week, along with the flutters and stuff..
is that what that watery feeling is? it's almost like i can *hear* the water moving if i lay on my back and kind of *worm* my stomach....and the thumps i've been getting those for 2 weeks, and kept thinking they were gas.....but maybe not huh?! it's like someone is taking the outside of their fist, and kind of layin it against me, and pushin soft and quick, then a few mins later it repeats!
i LOvE it!!!!
you know in this last week is only when I began feeling thumps and kicks. (I think it's head butts mainly because it's where his head is) I'm 21w2d and still not feeling it regularly. I felt it yesterday and today and two days before that.
Then in the last week I've felt "THUMPS" 1-3X a day. the same type of feeling if you were to thump a full waterballoon in your hand and then the water swishes as the balloon jiggles.
I'll feel a "thump, swish" it's odd, like being on an elevator. but this last few days my stomach has been killing me because my uterus is growing like crazy. It is AWESOME isn't it?
omg i finally got this last night!!! i bent over, and felt this muscle spasm thingy, and i rubbed it after i stood up(they usually go away), and it just got more wierder feeling and stronger!!! so i think i really felt *him* moving also!!!
awesome isn't it!!!!!
It is exciting. I remember when my son was just a little thing in my belly. He moved around so much. Especially after a glass of juice or soda. He was all over. I miss it so much. It's a wonderful experience.
awe how wonderful it is a wonderful feeling....my little ones kicked daddy in the back for the first time this morning and hard enough to wake him it he was so thrilled
Awww... YAY! :) Must be the COOLEST feeling...wait till it gets painful! lol
Thank you!! it was so amazing. this is my first.. so everything is so new!! and really exciting!
See, there you go. Girlie you were worrying way too much. Maybe now you will feel better. It just gets better and better. You will feel more and more as each day passes. Don't get upset if you don't feel her everyday. She's still small and some days they have a lot of movements and some days they are lazy. I'm happy for you. Congrats.
