OMG, ladies...... Bleeding

So I'm 11wk+ with my third baby... this morning I woke up and went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was blood in the tissue!!!! The first one was like a small blood clot bright red!! then I kept wiping and wiping and it was like when your period is going away hardly there and like old blood.  I called my doctor and he said that as long as I'm not cramping is ok.  I have an appointment today at 1pm so I'm praying everything is Ok.

Has anyone gone through this??

sorry i'm a lil late getting this i've not been on much ne more but i'm glad that your little bean is ok and is growing wow can't believe you are like 12 weeks or so already lol

Thanks ladies, I'm happy too but the bleeding(light bleeding seems to happens only in the morning, as the day progresses it goes away. It's just weird because I never had this with any of my pregnancies

Did the doctor check your placenta, because I had the same problem as you and I was clotting and bleeding bright red blood and the cause was a low lying placenta.  I figured I'd ask if the dr. mentioned any thing of this sort???  But I'm very happy to hear the baby and you are ok.

Just came back from doctor, he did an internal and the blood was not coming from the cervix or anything around there. Cervix was closed and he also did an us and I saw the heartbeat again!! and he/she was moving his/her little arms.  it was very cute.  He said that it might have been "implantation bleeding" that never came down but  he really doesn't know what caused it.  He also said that if it was a m/c i would feel like I was in labor because of the pain I would be in.  He said the baby is big and is no longer a little sac.  I'm relieved it was nothing bad, he said to keep an eye on it and call him if it gets heavier or cramping.  Thanks ladies for all the advice and the support!! What would I do without you guys!!

I also had this happen, though it was just brown and barely there (like you said, like when your period is ending). Turns out it was from a walk I took up a very, very steep hill. Ugh! So hopefully yours is nothing serious and please do let us know what's going on.

Thanks, they did mention at my screening U/S on Monday that I had fibroids, so I'm hoping that's what is causing the bleeding.  I will def let you know how it goes.

I had this type of bleeding off and on from 9 weeks through 29 weeks with this pregnancy.  For me they never did find a cause. It usually happened after sex or after bearing down. And it wasn't just spotting it was like a big gush of blood that would then subside completely until the next episode.  But it was bright red etc.  I also had just a single incident with each of my first two pregnancies at 7 weeks with one and 19 weeks with the other.  All pregnancies went well and this one is going well also.  They have found NO reason as to why it might be happening and the doctor has guessed that I may have polyps in my cervix that are bursting or something.  Regardless he said at this point what I'm seeing is "normal" for me dispite how strange it is.

It may be early to hear a heartbeat with the doppler today, but if they are able to get you a quick u/s to confirm heart beat then you can rest much easier.  Chances of miscarriage to WAY down after hearing a heart beat.

But yeah, I never really did get used to see the blood...just never seems ok.
