I definitely agree to the scratch off method!  Anyone got any winners in their pockets?

The part that ***** about my job is I have the ability to work from home, but when DH and I have a child, I will still have to either put them in daycare or get a nanny because my job requires that the area that I call from is quiet, no outside noise.  I'm not even allowed to have my dog in the room with me, but I still do anyway (she doesn't really bark much).  I do have really good benefits, but I guess that is the trade off for absolutely hating my job.

I feel ya on the working for insurance.. I took this job thinking the health insurance would be kick a$$.. It is BY FAR the WORST health insurance I have ever had. I have a an HMO and S U C K S! I even took a paycut for this job.. They changed the plan a month after I started here.. Uggh.

Oh well... I am single as well so I dont have the stay at home option, but I totally wish I would hit a scratch ticket so I could afford to stay home, buy my own home, pay off bills, and buy my own health insurance plan, etc.. =)

Ahhh.. that would be so sweeeet! =)

lol venting b/c we want to be SAHM moms - I will continue - I could be a SAHM - DH makes decent money and we could always cut and scrimp to make it work - but he doesn't have great benefits.  It would cost $450/month for insurance at his work, where as mine is only $60/month.  It ***** to have to work for insurance!  At least I am a teacher and have breaks and summer vacation and holidays/weekends off, plus there is always that unexpected snowday that I am looking forward too.

jenntanis~ LOL funny you said that, I too am a nurse and told DH the same thing, I am so over documentation! I just want to be a cashier somwhere. :) I did cut my hours down to 2 days a week, and I won't work over a 8 hour shift, I'm trying to adjust to not having alot of extra money for when after the baby comes, because I too will stay home. I hope :)

I just realized last night that I have been temping in the wrong place in my mouth, so this month was definitely a bust for me.  Now I'm just waiting for AF to show and try again.  I hope it comes soon.  The way I feel right now, I could take off my GYN's head if it doesn't.

I also hate my job and have been looking for a new one for awhile.  But it's hard to be a nurse when you cannot lift more than 25 lbs.  I either don't have enough education, or don't have enough experience.  I like being able to work from home but this job stinks, and I miss working and interacting with people, not calling people on the phone all day long.  Sometimes, I wonder if I should just get a job at Target and work my butt off rather than be a nurse.

I totally understand! I hate my job too! I'd much rather be at home!
As far as my venting...
I am so desperately TTC! However, my body is making that very hard for me!
My cycles are getting shorter and shorter! This last one was only 17 days! I have no idea when I ovulate(or if I ovulate at all)! It's just all so frustrating! I know I haven't been TTC for very long but GEEZ, give me a break!!!

Thanks for listening!!!
