OT - Old Wives Tales (So much fun)

I have heard about the old wives tale saying to put a ring on a necklace or string then hold the knot/ clasp and let it dangle over your stomach and it will tell you the sex of the baby well I have another one based on the same thing.
This one is the same set up but you hold it over your hand (lay your hand flat) and it will circle for a girl and swing in straight lines for a boy and will stop dead when it is done. The cool thing about this one is it is suppose to tell you how many kids you will have and what sex.  I did it and got 9. 9!!!! LoL. The first one was a boy, which I thought was really creepy cause I am convinced that the baby I lost was a boy. My friend and her fiance did it and they got the same result and my boyfriend and I got the same result (except the first one and he only went to 5 before he freaked out LoL)

And to make it creepier I wanted to see if it would give you the same result doing it over your stomach so I did it over mine. The result... circled for a girl then stopped dead.  Could it be telling me something? LoL.

When i did it it said boy... but my us last wensday clearly showed a little girl.

i did the ring test 2day and it predicted girl so hope its right! will know on thursday anyway:d

i did the hand a while back and it always said for me and the ex..boy girl boy girl... i did it over my belly while i was prego and it said girl i had a boy...

I did the ring thing over my belly when I was pg with my dd, it went in circles.  I tried it when I found out I was pg this time and it went back and forth.  I am having another boy.  So fo me it was true.

im not currently pregnant i tried it 4 times and the same thing swinging back and forth lol the crazy thing was it looked as if my stomache had like a magnetic force lol if that makes any sense

yes it works but a lot of people use a needle and thread thats what i use so i hope i get my little girl my said boy last time and thats what i had

That's really funny! I tried the ring on a thread over my belly and it swung wildly back and forward for a boy and I found out I'm having a boy! I haven't tried it over my hand though ... will have to give it a go!
