Elijah "walked" about 9-10 months but didn't walk without a hand until he was 11 months old. We would hold his hand by his waist and he'd walk without our support, but he had to have your hand to walk, he was too scared at first to do it on his own. I actually held a string and he held the other end and walked, as long as he held something he'd do it but if you let go he'd stop and whine. Aubryana's 8 1/2 months and has started cruising and will go from the couch or ottoman to you just turning and stepping in between, but she still wobbles a good bit, I can kinda get her to walk holding my hands, but she gets excited and bounces from one foot to the other, lol.
Em is a year old and is a great crawler, can pull herself up and even started standing next to furniture holding her balance.....if i take her hand to help her walk she wants no part of it
my son walked at 10 months and Em prob wont be walking for another 2 months....its quite difficult carrying her everywhere and being 21 weeks preg with twins
my dd walked on her first birthday, my 1st ds at 14 months and my 2nd at about 13 months as i recall.
my daughter started walking around furniture at 10 months and took her 1st step on her own on her 1st birthday.
16 months for my first. She moved faster crawling than walking and I'd carry her everywhere so she refused.
Between 12 and 13 months, for my son. My nephew, his first birthday.
Lexi is 8 months and stands with one hand for support. She'll walk a short distance if you hold her hands. My cousins baby walked at 11 months.
haha that is too funny he is a pudgy little guy and loves to eat I know it will come on his own time... but I am afraid my back is going out LOL so I am eager for him to start walking.
My oldest walked right at a year. My second took her first steps the day before her first birthday. My third didn't even crawl till 10 months/walked at 15 months. My fourth was crawling around 9 months and walked around 13-14 months. Lily is 11 months and is JUST NOW starting to pull herself up. I've noticed that pudgier babies (mine all were with the exception of my first) tend to crawl/walk a little later than their skinnier counterparts. I used to joke with people when they'd ask me if one of mine were walking yet. I'd say "Are you kidding, that's a lot of butt to get up off the ground and balance" LOL
