I always found that a lower abdomen massage seemed to help...deep massage like you are pushing into your ovaries...I didn't suggest it since you said it was already painful to the touch...BUT it might be painful at first and then ease up like windupgirl said...
I find water and gentle massages to help out when my cramps are severe. I just rub my lower back and abdomen gently in circular motions and breathe deeply as I do. Sometimes they'll intensify for a moment in protest but it always does the trick.
Good luck!
Heat...to relax the uterine contractions/aka cramps. You can try a heating pad or a hot bath. Alleve and ibuprofen will work the same...but you might want to keep a steady stream of it in your system. Good luck! I used to get AF cramps so bad in hs I'd actually have to stay home in fetal position with a heating pad...
Aleve does work great.....I used to get them soooo bad I would have to take a muscle relaxer or pain pill at times.... I also used the pads that stick to your panties that give off heat.... I think the brand is doans.... and they helped alot.... better then just sticking the heating pad there for an hour or so.... this gives constant heat......
I would recommend ALEVE and try and drink a lot of water. And a heating pad usually helps a little too.. Sorry hun! That is the ONLY thing I like about being pregnant.. NOT getting my AF.. Mine are awful!
