Well now comes are dilemma and why we consider 2012. Ill only be 20 next summer.

I'm just looking for ladies who got married before 21... How they went bout it and or suggestions on how we shld do it??

Thanx. Also if u knw where this post shld go.

plan whatever you want!  it is your wedding!
If you want alcohol, have alcohol.  I know it is illegal for you to drink it, but come on!  its YOUR wedding.  If you did want to have some and you were afraid of what the other guests thought, put it into a punch cup!

hopefully, you will only get married once, so do it how you want.  Age shouldn't play a factor in this.  I wouldn't go crazy with the alcohol, but I think it is perfectly accectable to have a drink or two.

as for the bachlorette party, plan to go somewhere that will let you in to have all the fun.  You don't necessarily have to drink to have a good party!  You can always have a drink before or after at home.  Plan to start or end the party at home (or someone elses)  The girls can give you their little "gifts" & such, then you can go out dancing or something.

Have fun & congrats!

Yea. Well I have one sister I get along with. But if I had my bd sisters I'd have a HUGE wedding party bc I couldn't just pick one and he has 6! And only one isn't old enough o want to be in it!

My other friends live 8 hrs away so idk... I have old friends from high school but we don't talk much.... Otherwise I've got u ladies and ladies from work who are 30+(not that they aren't great) but itd be kinda odd....

Thanx ladies. We are gonna have it outside. Not 100% sure where yet. Pry 2-3 bridesmaids/grooms men. I want a gazebo. Colors are green and another color. Lol. Real small simple. And DF has to dance with me. And that's bout it

I got married at 25 but girl I moved to AZ at 23 and had no friends except for dh friends girlfriends... so I had my 1st cousin maid of honor..and 1 of his sisters and his brothers girl/baby momo lol and my hubby's close friends girl and we got married at the courthouse first because we didnt want to wait then a couple months later we had a wedding by the lake at a resort so it still wasnt a large thing maybe 45- 50 people? so girl 'do yo thang'! lol how ever you want it's your special day and a side note the only reason I got married at 25 is because me and dh hadnt met yet ! If we had met when I was 19 we would have been married at 20 so its about the love you share and maturity and I know you're ready so congrats again!!!!!

I got married when I was 20 and I don't regret it at all. DH and I were together for a year and a half before saying I do, and we were both very mature and responsible for our age. He was 21 when we got married, so we joked about him being able to toast with champaine and me not being able to (I still did of course) but no one at the wedding or reception got too rowdy because we didn't have an open bar. It was a beautiful Fall wedding, outside on the lawn of a gorgeous ranch, and it all went perfectly. Needless to say, DH and I have been married a little over 3 years and I still love him more than anything. We are expecting our first child in January, and as much as I love him as my husband I can tell that love will go deeper when I see him as a father. Congrats on you upcoming nuptuals, whenever you decide! :0)

Oh MOMO!!! I'll come be your bridesmaid!!!! lol..  that was one thing that i didnt like when me and DB were engaged cause i was only 19 when we got engaged and that was before I had Cole, so I wanted to drink!! lol..  especially at my bacherlorette party!!!  but now that i turn 21 next month, i wish he would propose again but im not holding my breathe, as you know why, we talked about it yesterday in our messages!!!

But really if you dont drink then go ahead, no one can stop you from having one single glass of wine at your reception!!!! as long as its not in a public place, like a reastaraunt or a bar or something, but if its your own yard, or you rent a hall. go right ahead, enjoy!!!!

I dont think there is a "too young" age, even though people say that all the time. it doesnt matter about the age. its if the love is real, if its whats gonna make both of you happy, and if your mature enough for it.. but Im sure you are, you guys have been together for awhile and have to children together!!!!! you are ready.. go ahead with the wedding!!!

When do you turn 21?

My best friend got married at 19 with her immediate family in s church, then had just a dinner at a local restaurant afterward. They said they'll have a big celebration for their 10 year anniversary. They were very happy how they did it.
That's the great thing about weddings.. There's no 'right' or 'wrong' way to have it!

Sorry I missed it!!!  I went to bed at like 7:30 yesterday!  SO CONGRATS!!!!!  Anyway, I got married at 19 and we're are going 5 years and 3 months strong.  It's not about age it's about your maturity about the situation and marriage is what you make it!

Do something that will make you and dh happy.  We did the whole church thing because it was less expensive than traveling and having a destination wedding so to speak.  I had my soon to be sister in law (my brother's wife now) and DH sister as my bridesmaids and he had his brother and his best friend on his side...we had two flowergirls (just b/c I could not ask one person and not her sister too) and two ringbarers (just to keep it even).  We had a reception at the place where DH and I worked/met.  It was really nice but kinda expensive.

My brother however and his wife....they went to the court house and then had a big reception at her parents house...it was less expensive but still got to celebrate their big day.

I never had any of those things. Neither of us wanted it. My wedding was under a tree next to a stream. We had 10 people which was my parents, aunts, grandparents and my sister. DH had no family present. (if he had had a choice no one would have been there, lol) The minister did the thing, we all stood around talking for 20 minutes or so and then left. It was informal too. I had on pants and a decent top, DH wore ripped jeans and a gray shirt, and the minister wore a tank top thing (I think it's called a wife beater?) and shorts. It was nice and just what we both wanted.

I'm 20 and got married sept 23rd. Mine was a very quick spur of the moment thing. DH was on his vacation and we got our license on the 22nd and was married the next day. We found someone to do it (because neither of us belong to a church) called up a few family members and said we were getting married in two hours in a park. It was perfect.
