Has anyone tried the Over the counter gender prediction test? I'm 6w5d and want to take on this weekend but my dh doesnt want to pay $30 for it. I personally think it neat and want to try but not sure.
You will be paying $30 for the fun element but nothing more. Gender prediction tests simply do not work - they are glorified, and expensive, pH tests (turn a certain color based on how acidic your urine is at the time)
i have tried it its says its a girl along with all the other gene predictors and well find out fri by ultrasound but in the instructions should tell you when you can test if you buy one now and cant use it yet just wait the only true way to find out what your having is get an amino or wait till birth i know its hard
It can either be a boy or a girl, not any other options. Not like it really makes a difference, its just fun to know if you want to find out early. Anyway, the only reliable test is an ultrasound after 18 weeks of gestation.
I purchased the Intelligender Test which is suppose to give you results in 10 minutes. It clearly read girl for me, but it's obviously wrong! It turns out I'm having a boy! I would wait until you are about 20 weeks to confirm gender. Good luck!
I like you decided to go ahead and try it for the fun of it, was curious as too what it was going to say - I had my gender ultrasound coming up that same week anyways. Well it clearly said I was gonna have a girl, and oh boy oh boy was it ever wrong, I'm having a boy - and I have a clear clear shot of his little penis! LOL.
I say try it for the fun of it, but don't rely on those results and yes for the Intelligender Test you have to wait until your 10 weeks.
