Lol, thanks ladies. I read up on it and it's just dollar store brand Tylenol, so it should be okay.
all tylenol is is the brandname... but the actual medicine it is made of is acetaminophen which is a pain reliever and fever reducer... if what you have is a headache reliever i would not take it because most of those (like excedrin and other offbrands) have acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine... and you cannot take them... so once again read the active ingredients and proper dosage, all medicines will say if pregnant or nursing ask health proffessional before use, but if it is just acetaminophen there is no need.
Also, a lot of the off brand meds have a little note on the box saying compare to .... so that may help too...
if it is just acetamenophin which is what tylenol is, it should be fine...Like Clysta said just look at what is in them and compare...If they are the same, it will be fine..Since you dont have any tylenol, you can look at the ingredients online
I would imagine it's fine. You can compare the two and see what the differences are, if there are any. You doctor should give you a list of all medicines that are safe during pregnancy for various illness and infections and the like.
