So I had a beautiful baby boy this February. I am exclusively breastfeeding and to top it off I am a type one diabetic and have been for the past 10years. It took me over 3 months to heal from birthing my son vaginally and my doctor was concerned about me going on birth control due to how hard it was to conceive. Sooo long story short. I took a pregnancy test last night and it came back instantly positive.. I'm going to pick up a few more tests today but I am in complete shock. My ob said my chances were slim to none on conceiving again. Many emotions are going through my head and absolutely none of them are excitement.. Help!

Just call them and say you have take however many pregnancy test and they have come up positive. They should schedule a proof of pregnancy appointment and than go from there! Good luck! I love being a young mommy!

Thank you so much! I just have no idea how far along I am since I only had the heavy bleed after my son was born and nothing since. The week estimator test said 3+. What do I tell the obgyn office when I call them since I haven't had a period since the afterbirth mess?..

On this board that's not unusual. I'll have 2 at 22, lots of women younger have multiple as well. No one here will judge you! And those that do elsewhere really have no business concerning themselves with whether or not you are choosing to expand your family. Congratulations mama!

Just because the doctors said you have a slim chance on getting pregnant doesn't mean you can't get pregnant. Embrace it! Enjoy it! Yes it will be stressful , but it's you husbands life and your life! I'm 22 and 29 weeks pregnant with my third boy! I don't care what people have to say , it's shocking yes but you guys know how babies are made. Even with not being on birth control if you weren't using protection you can get pregnant lol I hope it all works out how you guys want it too! Take it as a blessing , look at those who can't have babies or have lost their babies.

^^agree...they can pass judgement alll they want and dont be shocked if ur pregnant even though they told u ur chances were slim to none. I have stage 5 endometriosis, was told same thing and pregnant with #3 :) allmy babies are healthy. Not sayin dont listen to ur doctor but sometimes u just have to see for yourself. Congrats and take care

Who cares if they judge you're a grown woman,  I'm 20 with a 9 month old and  7 months pregnant! I take care of my kids and I gave my own place and car and a job! If they say something to you about being pregnant just simply reply,  are you taking care of me and my kids!

I am already planning everything in my head and I'm like "I can't go to the same ob, I'll get judged", ect..  My hubs isn't really saying anything, I think he is in shock. All he said was he will believe it when I take another 2 tests..
