One month baby suffering from Acne~ what can be causing that??

my poor sweetheart , she is so beautiful and only a month and a half , but i noticed a few days ago, she develop what appears to be some sort of acne, its red ..it spreads to her cheeks, and some in her ears and head!!  still wondering what that can be ??

anyone has ever experienced  this kind of acne before with their newborn?

i use baby johnsos , tear free...could it be the shapoo? the kisses i give her? her cheeks against my tshirt when i rock her in my arms? allergy to some foods i eat , since i breasfeed? or the similac powder milk , for fussiness and gas that im putting her on..we switched from regular similac to this one..could the switch ,make her have a reaction?

thank you in advance!

It's just baby acne and it will clear up on it's own, don't pop the pimples!

I totally know what you are talking about my baby when he was born he didint have acne but when he turned like a month he had it really bad his skin was so dry and his ears would turn crusty yellow because it was so bad he even had it on his head which turend into cradle cap.I stopped using the johnson baby wash i though it was irritating his skin and bought aveno baby lotion with the oatmeal in it its made for dry skin and babies with eczema which i think its what he had and it went away i also bought aveno baby wash.so now everytime hes face turns red i put the aveno lotion on him and it goes away. I would try it.

Baby acne is very normal.  It strikes around the one month mark.  Do not worry about it, it will clear up.  What I used to do is just make sure that I wash his face with a wet wash cloth and some baby wash.  But it will clear up on it's own.

This is totally normal sweetie its just her skin adapting to the outside world. Baby skin doesnt produce enough sebum for it to be any kind of acne related skin condition.
Its more than likely milk spots-so dont worry! If it was a reaction it would be all over her little body-there really is nothing to worry about just keep doing what your doing & eventually it will clear up. x
