Opinions on inducing

What are you guys opinion on inducing? What were your experiences like? Im a  ftm I'm 39 weeks+4 days. And my doctor says I can be induced this weekend. Due to certain health ,problems I don't mind but I'm just worried now after Googling the pros & cons....

With my first pregnancy i was induced because my water level was low, so it ***** because of the contractions but obviously thats normal, but my water broke by itself and in 2 hrs i had my daughter but of course i had the epidural i couldnt stand the pain no more after having contractions for almost 22 hrs lol but at the end is worth it, do whats best for your baby if theres health concerns

Yea I was told if I get too much water due to gestational diabetes they will have to do that to me

^they broke my water during my induction. It didnt hurt but it was very uncomfortable.

Does it hurt if they have to break your wAter ?

My sister was induced with both her children and they are both perfectly healthy beautiful children!

Being induced is so common now . I would stress about it. If you get induced then you just get induced . Nothing to it. I know so many people who have had to get induced and only one resulted in a c section and that was because he got stuck . the babies were all healthy .

I also was induced with my second child with no issues.  It was nice to have an appointment, show up and have a baby.  :>)  good luck hon

I was induced with my son at almost 37 weeks because I was already 4 cm and my water didn't brake I didn't really have alot of pain  they rupture my water and gave me meds to contract i had my healthy baby boy 7 hrs later just try to stay calm the calmer you are the faster everything goes my induction was awesome
