Orgasm while sleeping

I am six weeks pregnant and have heard that you shouldn't have sex and/or orgasms before seeing a heart beat.  Well, last night I experienced one while sleeping.  I have an appointment next week and will hopfully see the heartbeat.  However, should I be worried about miscarriage if the heartbeat hasn't begun.  I should also say that I am pregnant from IVF.  Any comments would be really appreciated.  Thanks.

Thanks feel a lot better. I think it is true about pregnancy and orgasms while sleeping.  This is actually the second I've had in a matter of a week.  Very bizarre!!! Maybe it's also all the extra hormones we are experiencing.  Thanks for the feedback

Hell I'm jealous...it's hard to have one while I'm awake! (SMILE)...Girl you're ok!  Some doctors recommend an active sex-life through out your pregnancy!  It's only when they find that sexual stimulation makes your cervix react is when they restrict you from activity.  Most of the time that happens during the ladder part of pregnancy once you're able to feel braxton hicks contractions or if there is a shorting of the cervix.  Send some of that this way!  I'm be happy to tuck myself right on in at night!  Lucky ~*~*~*~*  hugs & kisses!

Its an old wives tale about the orgasm, unless your doctor says specifically no intercourse than your ok. I would try not too worry!

I dont think it should cause any harm.  You cant really control what your body does at night.  I have heard it is common to have those at night while pregnant....maybe it is due to the added pressure down there from your growing uterus.  Try not to worry to much, I think you should be fine!
