I found out that I had one before I knew I was pregnant.  Mine looked cancerous and was very very large.  In fact my local dr's wouldnt operate and sent me to a specialist 4 hours away.
It was right before I was going to surgery that they said that my urine test came back positive.  I had been told that I was unable to have kids due to other problems and my husband had a vasectomy before I meet him.  We were not expecting kids, and both assumed that it was a false positive due to the cyst.  wishful thinking at the time lol
When I got home I took otc tests and they all came back positive, so I called my local ob/gyn and he got me right in and did an ultrasound that showed a 6 week 5 day old peanut.
I am currently 8 weeks 4 days and everything is going beautifully.
I should add that they had to change how they were going to do the surgery,  remember women get into car accidents, they have appendicitis', gallbladders removed, so dont worry if they have to operate, it happens all the time.  :)

hi,

Thanks so much. Thankfully they decided not to operate and keep and eye on it to see if it changes.

Thanks x

I had an ovarian cyst removed when i was 5 weeks along.  They ended up taking out the cyst, ovary and my fallopian tube on that side.
