Ovulation Feeling

I just wanted to get an idea of what people have felt during ovulation. I had never experienced the FEELING of ovulation before. It just happened (rarely, but it does happen occasionally). This past month, I had cramping for 4 days, was really turned on during those days, and had one spot of blood on the 5th day early in the morning, and that was it. This was two and a half weeks ago. I have been convinced that this is what it is (I then had mild cramping for 1 and a half days, with a spot of blood 9 days later). Was just wondering if this sounds like what any one else has experienced during ovulation.

As far as counting guessing from the time of my last period, that's impossible. I have really irregular periods, and haven't had one for months. My gyno thinks its nothing to worry about, but I am beginning to doubt him. Anyway. I would love to hear all of your ovulation experiences.

Yeah the cramping was very mild and off and on... Hmmm. I am hoping that it was ovulation and that the spotting 9 days later was implantation... But I'm too afraid to test haha!

What about the feeling of being extremely turned on... I have a really low sex drive normally... But when I suspected that I ovulated like I said i was so turned on.. Like all I could think about! Sometimes I would get this before my period.. Right before... But I was having no other regular symptoms of my period.. Like sore bbs which I always get before my period... And usually my cramping is much more severe and stays until i take midol or something... It's just something I've never experienced. Plus it been over 2 weeks and I still haven't got my period.

My husband aren't really trying but will be so excited if we are... I just finished college, 25, been married for 3 and a half years and I am so ready to have a baby! So if this ends up being a bfn than I will still be sticknig around these boards because it will be time to see the gyno and start doing all the testing and charting etc. This whole process has made me realize just how much I want a baby and soon!! :) thanks for the input on your experiences! Would like to hear more!

I normally have cramping for one day down around my ovaries.  I normally get a headache and fatigued right before ovulation too.  I also (sometimes) have spotting.  The month I got pregnant I spotted like 4 days before my positive OPK which lasted one day.  Then like 2-3 days later I had more spotting for one day.  Also my cervical mucus is ridiculous.  It gets like the egg white consistency and is a lot.  Hope this helps.  Good luck.

I didn't experience an ovulation "feeling" until after I'd been pregnant once.  It felt like a very slight crampiness on one side of my pelvis (where my ovary would be).  Some months it was more perceptible than others.  I just had my second baby in January and still haven't had a period yet (I'm breastfeeding)....so who knows how it'll be when it does start up again, whether I'll still have the feeling or not.

I know what you mean. I knew that I ovulated this time around because I was having cramps but it was only for a short time. I have PCOS and don't ovulate at all on my own (it happened once on my own in 2 years). I can't believe that your doctor does not think that it is a big deal at all and I think that they could have at least offered you clomid to try to get your ovulation going at a normal phase and that will help regulate your periods. It is virtually impossible to be able to tell when you are ovulating when you are not having normal cycles. You might want to look into switching to a doctor that will take your concerns more seriously. Good luck honey!
