Ovulation tests negative - EWCM visible

I am really just here to vent.  I am on Clomid for my second cycle, I just had a hsg procedure on monday and  I have been using opks since day 10.  It is now day 17 and no positive opk.. I did see a lot of EWCM today though, does that mean that I might have my surge or am I just grasping at straws and I am not going to ovulate this month?  I really just want someone to say that this happened to them and they ovulated late and got pregnant.  I thought this would be the month because the hsg procedure ups your fertility chances, but I don't think you can get pregnant if you don't ovulate.  :(

Thanks everyone.. you reallly helped!  I just got a positive opk today, I guess that means I will ovulate in 24 - 36 hours!  Horay!  I hope the 50mg of clomid and hsg help do the job!  :)

I'm not on clomid and I have alot of EWCM and i have yet to have a postive opk and i'm on CD20. I hope ovulate sometime during this cycle.

So I hope that I can help a little bit and ease your stress. First I will be honest i've never been on clomid or had an hsg procedure. But I have done lots of research.

So I am wondering when during your cycle you do actually ovulate, like are you late ovulating this month. From what it sounds like you are. But this is okay because clomid actually delays ovulation for many women. My friend without clomid ovulates on CD12, but on clomid ovulates on CD18. Ya thats a big difference! So hope is definitely not at all lost because it is a proven fact that clomid can do this. I bet if you asked your doc he would say the same thing.

Now about the ewcm...So just because you had ewcm today and no +opk that is okay. Ewcm is a sign that ovulation is coming. Normally women will get fertile cm between 3-5 days before actual ovulation day. So you will probably see a +opk tomorow or the following day. I can tell you personally I get watery/ewcm 6 days before I ovulate and usually one day after I ovulate.

Just remember that your body is going thru different things this cycle that can vary the normal things you would go thru such as the hsg and clomid! Good luck and let me know when ovulation comes because  I definitely think you will soon!

its crazy cuz this happened to me so i stopped trackin my ovulation and when my period was due to come it never came to 3 days later my doc sent me for blood work to see if i was prego n its said no... well i waited another week and a half and i took another test n now im 9 weeks prego!!! i ovulated almost 2 weeks late.. keep ur head up!!! what dose of clomid did they have u take i was on 50mg
