Having PCOS is not always the death sentence to fertility that people think. It's actually very common and one in every three women has it. I myself have gotten pregnant 5 times (no live births though but that's because of other reasons) and most of my friends that have PCOS have had kids with no mediation taken. Metformin helps with insulin resistance which is good and some say it does help with conceiving so give it a go. Do you have a regular cycle? If not you can always try clomid to help with ovulation. The best thing you can do to lessen the PCOS is to keep you weight down - I have found that everytime I lose a bit of weight I fall pregnant. Good luck I hope you get pregnant soon!
Hi i suffered with pcos several years ago,i had ovarian drilling to remove the cysts,has your Dr suggested clomid,i was also on this as well as metformin,however clomid dont work for everyone.having pcos does not mean you wont concieve just takes a bit longer.i wish you luck.
