PCOS..3rd pregnancy after 2 failed

Hi, can anyone tell me what the chances are for repeat m/c when you have PCOS? I have had 2 m/c's in the last year and am now 5weeks pregnant again. I am on metformin this time though as I have read so much about it...

Does someone with PCOS have the same drop percentage wise to a person without PCOS when it comes to m/c??

Thanks for all the info..it seems the only place you can get real info on PCOS is forums like this...with real women who have to deal with it. Im going for an early scan on Monday to see that everything looks good! All your information has helped me relax a little more and think positive...Thankyou sooo much! :-)

PCOS does make the chances of miscarriage higher. But that doesn't necessarily  mean you're going to miscarry again. I would recommend taking progesterone supplements until about week 10 of pregnancy as well.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2008. Up to that point I had 1 miscarriage and 2 healthy daughters. After the diagnosis I miscarried again but I also ended up having another healthy baby girl who is having her first birthday in just 3 weeks!

Every woman has chance of Mc pcos or not.It will make it slightly higher.but it certainly dont mean your going to.many women have delivered healthy babies with pcos, and go on to have more.I suffered pcos many years ago.and had surgery to rectify this. Now on my 3rd pregnancy.just relax and dont worry to much.enjoy your pregnancy, and congrats.

The biggest threat of miscarriage with PCOS is the first 12 weeks.  We basically have a 50/50 chance of miscarriage during the first trimester.  Once past the first trimester, though, the chances of miscarriage drop to that of "normal" women.

Having PCOS can increase your chance of M/C, but not alway's. There are many factors as to why a woman has a M/C.... I would just take it easy and not stress as that is not good either. I have PCOS as well, and was told after my last 1 was born 5 years ago that I wouldn't be able to have anymore and if I did, then I would probably be considered high risk because of my PCOS and the fact that I nearly bled to death with him...... Just relax and take it easy. ;) And congrats!
