A lot of women including myself feel sick after taking them. Try drinking them with milk or a meal and hopefully you will feel better. prenatal pills really helps your body get into shape. If i dont take them without milk or a meal, I feel so sick and like crap.

Many doctors recommend that you take prenatal vitamins about 3 months (at least) before trying to conceive so it shouldnt be an issue.  If they make you feel a little off, try taking them with food or at a different time of day (before you go to bed, or early in the morning for example).

Are you being treated for your medical conditions?  Anemia should be easily treatable and there are medications that women w/ PCOS can take that will greatly improve odds of conceiving.  Fibroids can also interfere with your ability to conceive - sometimes it is necessary to remove them surgically.

Long story short, talk to your OBGYN about your desire to have a baby and what can be done to improve your chances with your medical history.
