Wow, thanks alot everybody this gives me a few options. Thanks again, it was all veryhelpful!
Very normal to get joint aches and pains during pregnancy with your hips back and neck. I hightly recommend prenatal yoga. I did an 8 week series recently and they taught multiple stretches and techniques for relieving joint pain at all stages of pregnancy. Well worth your time and investment. Works even better when you can start it early.
Im 21 weeks i have had hip pain and back and neck. A nurse suggested i try using a birthing ball...do some streches on it :) got one today and going to give it a try
Thanks so much. I'll try the heating pad and put my husband to work. I've been worried about feeling so horrible, but this is encouraging. Thanks again.
First trimester, I literally felt like I got hit by a bus. Your body is changing, it's normal to have aches and pains. Some don't go away. Try a heating pad, that helped for me. just don't turn it on high, especially if using it on your back. Tylenol is safe to take, but the less you do the safer. My fiance rubbed my neck and shoulders every night and that helped a lot too. Other than that, just try and take it as easy as possible. Congrats on the pregnancy and best of luck for you and your little one!
