Pain in the right side of groin

I posted a few days ago about some pain I was getting in the right side of my pelvis/groin. It has increased a little bit and it actually woke me up this morning. It comes and goes and isn't extreme, but I'm still worried that it may be an ectopic. This is my first pregnancy so I don't know if this is a normal pain or something to worry about. I'm not bleeding or anything, so any input would be helpful. I don't have my first appt until 1/15 and I'm not sure if I should just go to the hospital in the mean time.

The ER room where I live is crazy, it took me 8 hours to be seen one time, that's why I'm debating on going there so much. I'm just soooooo paranoid....I think I'll wait and if it gets too crazy, I'll go in. Maybe I'll call the doc tomorrow, and see what they say.

I had the pains on my right side, they were unbearable, it even hurt to breathe!! I was 5 weeks when they started, and ended going in for an u/s at 6 weeks because I was so afraid it was ectopic. Everyone told me I would be fine, and I was, BUT, I didn't feel better until I went. If you think they are more than just a cyst or ligament/implantation pains, go in. It will at least ease your mind, it worked for me, just knowing I was going to be healthy and so was my baby.....I am now 29 weeks and have had no issues!!! Good luck!!!

Unless the pain is unbearable, I doubt it's ectopic. I'm 12w4d today and I have had the worst pains right in the area that you've mentioned. They're woke me up, kept me awake, even put me in tears. My OB told me that it's just ligament pains but I highly doubt they're supposed to hurt this bad - I think I may have a cyst. I'm actually debating right now on whether or not to go to the hospital to be checked out. I have an appt on the  3rd but they won't do anything to even check because the baby was healthy at my u/s which was on the 20th of December.

If it gets any worse, I suggest calling up to your doctor's office and mentioning it - it can't do any harm by bringing it up and if it is something serious, you'll feel better by having listened to yourself and saying something anyway.

Good luck.
