Painful strep B test @ 36 weeks

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I have never had issues with the "swab test" for strep B, but this time it was painful to the point where I flinched when my ob inserted the swab and its been painful and burning every time I pee. Do you think its possible she went into my urethra (aka pee hole lol) instead of my vag??

The pain went away now, but I am going to mention it to her and see what she says. I know that males can have a small qtip inserted in their urethra to check for stds so thats why I was curious. And I wondered why it would instanly hurt my bladder and urinary tract if it was inserted in the "right hole" ya know. Anyway, thank god its gone now, it was awful. She's been my OB for 3 kids now and I do like her alot. She delivered a preterm baby earlier that morning so who knows if her mind was right lol!

Well if she did she isn't a very good OB. I mean those holes are quite a bit different in size & she would have to have pushed very hard to get it in your urethra. It might just me irritation since dryness is sometimes a part of pregnancy & the swab is dry going in too.
