Period Pains?

So im 38 weeks today and have just started having some period pains?? Its like a dull ache really low down did anyone else get this? Is it a concern?

Oh and yeah ^^ if your dog is following you that's a very informative clue! I had a German Sheppard who loved to jump all over us every time she saw us and one day she came running up to me like she was gonna jump and she just stopped two weeks later i found out i was exactly 2 weeks pregnant (i have an abnormally high amount of hormones while pregnant so i always find out way way way before most woman do this pregnancy i took a test 10 days after conception and it came out positive!)

I'm only 22+3 weeks and I've been getting those period like cramps really low and they have been HORRIBLY  painful for me! I've also been having them with a mix of what i think are contractions but not too sure this is my third baby but my youngest is almost 5 and i never went through this before with my son or daughter :/ maybe your having Braxton Hicks?? I've been feeling a lot of tightening sometimes when i have the cramps that's why i think contractions are mixed in there :/

Well, if your dog is following you around that could be a sign. Dogs are very keen on this sort of thing.

Right ive had a hot bath and am in bed with a hot water.bottle. No contractions ortightning but still have this belly ache?? And the dogs acting weird following me around crying!!

Ooooo thatd be nice. This is my second but you forget... I had period pains in the beggining and the middle but now there here and not eased off. Do you think if i take parcetamol they might go if not could it be the start??

From what I have heard, labor is like really intense period pains so maybe your body is getting ready to contract.

I am 38+2 and I've been having them for about a week not exactly sure what it is but I'm going to ask my doctor today....
