Pinkish after I pee

Hi im 5 weeks pregnant and after I go to the bathroom and wipe its pinkish is that normal? Is that what spotting is? This is my first pregnancy and im just wondering if its normal

To thebrat333 its not in my urine just when I wipe its pink no brown or dark red now that u suggest urinary infection that could be it cuz I do have a mild discomfort after sex and urination

I would call the doctor anyway. It maybe ok but it may not be. No one here's knows 100%. Hope everything is ok

Yes it is perfectly normal as long as it isnt accompanied by any severe cramping or dark red blood it is just ure uterus stretching that causes it, nothing to worry about and shouldnt last for more than a day or two, if cramping gets worse and blood gets heavier then call the Doc straight away just to be checked out Good luck x

Hi there

I never experienced that with any of my three pregnancies but it may be different for you.

Is there a chance you could have a urine infection ? They are very common during pregnancy. Just wondering if the blood is in your urine ?

I would get a wee test done at your surgery to test for an infection asap just incase and don't take anything for it without checking with your doctor first due to being pregnant even headache pills are dodgy.
