Please HELP!!!!

so I am 22 weeks +2 days and for the past 3 weeks I have been having frequent headaches and slight dizziness. I tried to ignore it because I thought it was normal being that I'm prego. But the consistent headaches are worrying me to death. I went to the pharmacy and I checked.my blood pressure. Of all the readings it said that my diastolic levels are pre-hypertensive. Does this mean that I may develop pre-eclampsia? someone please answer I am mortified!!

Just to add, if your headache is not caused by the high blood pressure, pain can make the pressure high as well, so the pain could have been why your pressure was high, does this make sense? It doesnt, by any means, mean that you are definitely going to be preclamptic.

High blood pressure can definitely cause headaches, however the drug stores BP measurements are not always accurate. I would call your doctor so they can have you come in and check your pressures.
I measure mine everytime I go to walmart and its always really low, I run low normally, but I one had a measurement of 80/40....which was probably about 15-20 points off diastolically (which is majorly off). Best to get it checked, good luck.

Best thing to do would be to make an appointment to go see your doctor tomorrow. It could be caused by a number of different things. Some not so serious and some very serious.
