Please help..A little scared b/c I saw pink when I wiped

I am 12 weeks 5 days pregnant and still using progesterone suppositories. My doctor suggested that I use them until week 13 just to be on the safe side. Yesterday morning I got up to use the bathroom and when I wiped I saw pink on the toilet paper. It wasn't s a lot but I got scared. Thank God I didn't see it again at all for the rest of the day. I thought it may have something to do with the suppositories since I felt slightly irritated when I put it in the last couple of times. Then I put one in last night before bed. All was well until this morning when I wiped and saw pink again!!! It has gone away again b/c I feel like I am checking every 5 minutes. Why could this be happening? I have my first Trimester bloodwork and scan tomorrow and am afraid something could be wrong. I had a bad cold over the weekend could this be causing something? Any insight or similar stories would be helpful

Thanks a lot Joy, I hope all goes well tomorrow when i have my sonogram. I am seeing a specialist tomorrow not my regular OB so I will probably just mention what has been going on when i get there. I also have an appointment with my regular OB this saturday so maybe I will get a more thorough check then. I suppose if it gets worse I will go to the hospital however its not at that point right now. I am gonna just go home and put my feet up and wait for tomorrow

BTW- Make sure to call and mention it so your OB will write on the sonogram report to check for any bleeds, dilated cervix, etc. It will also help your insurance to cover the sonogram, as most only cover one unless deemed medically necessary. Not that money is the main issue here, but thought I'd let you know.

I would contact my doctor or even go to the hospital. I am a paranoid type of person so that is what I would do. Hop this helps a little. Good luck!

I had a TINY ITTY BITTY BIT of spotting this pregnancy, after I went on an incredibly intense walk. My sonogram was also the next day and showed a perfectly healthy baby girl!

Bleeding/spotting is not always the sign of a problem. It could be that your cervix is irritated.
