i cant say that i was able to carry full term after having a premie but i was carrying twins so i was bound to have them early
there is a shot called 17-P that im a firm believer helped me carry the twins longer than expected...i made it to 34 weeks with my twins after delivering my daughter last year at 32 weeks
i would talk to your doc and see what they recommend...if they know what caused the preterm labor it will be easier but even if they dont, you will be monitored much closer which is the most important step to preventing preterm labor again
I went into labor with my son @ 30w & Im in the same boat cause we r trying for our second I want to know if I'll b high risk this time & have to pick another dr I hope not & if I will be able to carry to full term this time around. I hope u can good luck to ya
I think it really depends on your situation. With my BF's mother, her first was a preemie and she had a stillbirth after that, but she carried two more full-term.
In 1998 my son was born at 30 weeks, 2002 my daughter born at 39 weeks. Relax, elevate your feet, no vacuuming, or mopping these are things that will help substantially. (Dr. recommended) Good luck and go for it!
I had my first at 34 Weeks. And my 2nd pregnancy the put me high risk I went into labor say 24 Weeks and they stopped it put me on bed rest at 34 weeks they said I could do what.ever and I had my 2 nd soon on his due date at 40 weeks. And we are getting for a third
It depends on the reason you went into early labor. For example if you delivered early due to pre-eclampsia theres a good chance you will go on to have a normal pregnancy this time around. However if you delivered early to due an issue with the cervix, you can risk it happening again. If you have a talk with your OB who knows your medical history he/she will be able to go through any risks that there might be, if any.
My exes wife had her first child at 26 weeks 2nd at 29 weeks and she carried her 3rd to 40 weeks 1 day but she was on medication from 30 weeks on to keep her from going into labor. I hope this helped.
I am 7 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. I went into labor with my first at 29 weeks and my 2nd at 34 weeks. I didn't smoke, drink,do any drugs. Not this advice you were hoping for im sure. Just remember the little things. Get more rest than usual. Keep as much stress out of your life as possible. I was extremely active with my first two pregnancies. I have made sure to take it easy in hopes of a smoother pregnancy. Good luck with everything.
