Pre-Term labor
I wanted to let everyone know that I have been in the hospital for three days trying to stop pre-term labor. I'm 32 weeks and 2 days. They have given me the steroids and I'm on magnisium. Please keep us in your prayers that he wants to stay in longer. Thank you!
GOod luck and I hope that everything goes well.. I was in the hospital at 31 weeks for preterm labor.. I was given the steriods as well but they never gave me anything to stop the contractions because they were so sporadic even though I was having 30 something a day.... I was admitted because my cervix was measuring extremely short at hat point...I had to stay for 9 days in total and after the 9 days, I got to go home on bedrest because my cervix hadnt changed much...
Im now 36 weeks 4 days and I dont think she is planning on coming anytime soon... You are in the right place because they will be able to respond quickly to your needs.. Praying you hold out a big longer, my doctor said when I was there if I could just make it to 34 weeks, it would be amazing, that is around the point where the baby can start expanding their lungs on their own..
I wish you the best of luck and just try to take it easy... Take up knitting, it is a great activity that you can do in the hospital and its easy to teach yourself as there are websites with videos dedicated.. Make your little baby a blanket or some shoes.

i was in the hospital a few weeks ago at 25wks for preterm labor and the magnisium works wonders. I am home now I still get contractions but they are not like the ones I was having in the hospital. Good luck and don't worry to much (I know thats hard to do right now) but you and him are in the best place. If he was to come now he would be fine just a longer stay in the hospital then planed..
Good luck prayers are being sent. Think positive. I had my son at 33 weeks. He did have to stay in NICU for a month but he's now a healthy 10yr old.
